Learning activities
Objective
The aim of this training is to equip participants from partner organizations and local trainers with the necessary knowledge and skills to train primary school teachers on implementing the intervention with their students. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different ways in which the various components of the lessons and topics can be incorporated into the training sessions they will be conducting.
Methodology
The training follows a “learning by doing” approach. Topics and content will be introduced through hands-on activities. After the training, a comprehensive guide/handbook will be provided, including the intervention steps, lesson plan, and methodology for local training.
To prepare for the training, participants will be asked to complete introductory reading activities on the topics. Since only 12 hours are available to cover the different subjects and the intervention, these pre-activities will help establish a foundational understanding of the content.
Participants
This training is intended for staff and local trainers from partner organizations. They will, in turn, transfer the acquired knowledge to teachers and conduct local training sessions based on what they have learned.
